Inspiration Piece: My Neighbour Totoro, Spirited Away, Castle in the Sky and Ponyo

Assorted hard wood 1. Island base 2. surface of the island, painted. 3.sawed and fit to the base of the bathhouse.
Canvas board: became the sky. Painted with acrylic and set as the background of the island.
Canvas cloth: became the sea. Painted with acrylic, glued with glue gun.
chavant modeling clay: Molded to be the root and base of the tree
floral foam block Cut half, one side craved to be the tree hole, the other half grounded and paint and glue as grass.
friendly plastic pellets painted in red, pink and black, little characters in the animation
glue stick, glue with glue gun, decorate at the tips of the waves.
oak plywood, saw to be stairs, little stores on the stairs and the bathhouse.
rope, use as small decorations, holding read pellets (lamps)
shredded newsprints: half used as tree skin and half used as tree leaves, glued and painted.
sculpey polymer clay: molded to animation character, oven baked and painted.
wooden dowels, painted as bathhouse chimney and Japanese torii
