Dream Whirl

by Samantha Schneider for Build A Dream (2014)

the rocks were built up from the mannequins cut up box held up by wire and wooden dowels, the plaster bandages were draped over top. the trees were formed from wire, and brown paper. The green hill was made from the ear covered with plaster bandages. the wave is made from paper held up by wire mesh. the floating rocks were carved from the foam rod painted and held up by wire attached to the back of them. for most bindings I used hot glue because it drys the quickest and holds better.

what I dream about inspired me. Most of what I did though were all bits and pieces of separate dreams.

I did really enjoy what I made, its own special meaning to me was important, and I feel happy with what I accomplished.
