Paper Plane Phantasy

by Jillian Wilson for Build A Dream (2014)

I made an aluminum wire figure and covered it with the Van Aken modeling clay. I then took an exacto knife and made details for the figure, such as the dress, limbs, hair, and face. Next I used acryllic paint to color it. Afterwards, I made a stand for the figure with wire mesh, aluminum wire, and the plaster given. I painted the stand also.

I got inspiration from a little kid in my neighborhood. The kid was playing with paper airplanes and the image stuck with me. However, I also got inspiration from "Eye in the Sky" by The Alan Parsons Project.
