Japanese Internment Camps

by Brett Watanabe and Megan Avalos for Somewhere in Time (2015)

In our project, we used a variety of materials such as the included materials that we had to use by mystery build. In the process of making our mystery build, we used different paint colors that helped give our project a realistic look, we used the hot glue gun to stablilize our project and keep it together.
The weaknesses we had with the hot glue gun were gluing the clay people my partner had made. When we fully glued them to the mystery build, we had trouble with the clay people melting and not staying together.

The theme was Somewhere in Time, we used the Japanese Internments Camps because my grandfather was put in the camps during World War II. So, this project was based off him and his experiences he had while he was in there.
